a week from tomorrow…

let me tell you what is going on ova here!

i had a great thanksgiving break. grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles! i spent time with the familia, and it was so nice. the food was good. the sleep was good. the lack of studying was maybe not so good…

back to school for the week-ish. papers must be written, a book must be read, and some major studying is going to happen. we had a playoff soccer game for the co-ed team, and we won. it was fun being out there! it was freezing though, and i am still trying to get full feeling back in my fingers as i type this.

some things i am praying for right now..

we need a lawyer and an accountant who is passionate about missions to help us with Find Your Calcutta. we are getting money donated, and it is scary. we are all new to this business/non-profit thing, and are willing to learn from anyone! it is very exciting because things are happening. we are in the process of being incorporated which then means we can file for the 501c3, which is the non-profit status. the only thing is, this takes money, too. one of the ministries that Find Your Calcutta supports is the Kids’ Ministry, and we are throwing a Christmas party for them on Wednesday! things are coming together, and students on campus are getting involved! i am really excited!

i have to write a 10 page paper on a book i am still reading titled Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World. any hints? i seem to have trouble finding time for this to fit in. i know it will get done, so i am not stressing. although, i need to start managing my time a little better.

my roommates and i are exchanging gifts this week, so that will be fun! i am so thankful for these girls. we all get along really well. we support each other, and it is just fun!

and for the Really Ruthie and I am Candy readers, their internet is down, so i don’t know when they will be writing again. my mom will be getting another iron transfusion this week, so say a prayer when you think of her. it is pretty tough on her body. she gets really tired easily, and let’s face it, it is a busy time of year for everybody.

what can i be praying for for you guys? let me know.

have a great week!

love.
